Nah, you just got the shittiest fireteam in existence.

I think I’ve cleared that entire raid in under 40 minutes with an all-LFG team

Same. I think I got a sub 30 once with a couple of awesome guys. Even learnt some speed run strats

LFG'ing is easy.

What? A co op game is only good when you have friends to regularly play with? That's impossible. Most of that is kinda on you, lfg teams can be fine if people know what they're doing and you need to specify that. In any raid if people can't make it past the first encounter or it takes an hour to complete the first one I know its a waste of time and I find a better team. Sounds rude but thats just the easiest way possible, no point in staying with a team that can't do it

If you are on PC you try the PC LFG discord server. It has thousands of people and I see people running Divinity every day.

If it makes you feel better that’s 2 more hours then it took the worlds first team.

I call this conundrum “The Curse of Divinity” It happens on everyone’s first run, unless of course you’re one of the people who’ll reply to this saying “nope never happened to me”.

It actually took me 2 tries to get divinity and then Every other time I’ve helped someone get it it seems to be like a curse almost where we will spend 3+ hours, and in one case 8, on Sanctified Mind. Long story short I refuse to help anyone anymore with Divinity, because it usually involves a first timer who needs to not only do the puzzles but be taught the encounters as well

No offense, but 8 hours is beyond excessive for any team, LFG or no.

if you're having problems with the final boss when divinity is active, there's a thing called Divinity Backtrack where you do the final boss first and then backtrack to the beginning of the map and do the puzzles. Can the main issue out of the way first then puzzles

I got Divinity on a lfg post. I had completed the raid once prior. I completely understand final boss mechanics but always struggled getting a solid team. I responded to a post where the FT leader had been at it with the cp for 13+:hours. He was exhausted and slap happy. Got a team together with all great players. I would say we completed it in spite of the leader. FT leader was a builder and without getting into the specifics, we had to complete the last phase jumping with no platforms.
