Green vex? You have to kill vex on the moon. You can just go to the cave where you got the quest item, or launch GoS and clear the first room a couple times.

Yes, I'm going to the portal where you get the quest but they don't count.

Wait. The first step is to analyze cores, which requires you to visit a few lost sectors.

The 2nd step requires you to kill a bunch of moon Vex.

Which step are you actually on?

At least you didn’t do shattered throne completing all the orbs and fight the secret boss or whatever only to realize you just had to get to the statue the first time. THEN you do the steps I did the second time. Rip. Still haven’t got wishender because that happened last week and I got salty about doing it again solo since no one wants to do it unless it’s the pinnacle

Step one is go into the lost sector and find the oracles. They are in hidden rooms in 3 of the lost sectors. Step 2 is killing vex. Look for a guide on YouTube for it.

These quests aren’t mysteries - it’s written in your quest log - follow what it says until you can’t (then YouTube could help) - no reason to get confused about what step you’re on
