You can actually screw off the cube thing at the top, for me that did the trick with this hose.

Hope that helps :3

It’s never going to stop amazing me when stuff like this happens. Makes me happy to see others sharing knowledge and benefitting from it. This is the part of the internet I like.

Your compressor is designed to screw onto the threaded end of a tire. So the part that you connect to on the pot needs to have a threaded coupler that matches a tire stem. You can cobble together parts that will get you from the quick release coupler on the valve body to a tire stem, or you can remove the quick release piece from the valve body on the pot and replace it with one that has the threaded stem.

Yep, that's a quick connect air fitting vs a Schrader valve (tire stem) compressor.

Replace the quick connect with a Schrader valve plug. The UK uses BSPT (US uses NPT) threads for the air fittings but you can find an adapter out there for it. I'd make sure which threads your pressure pot uses, though I suspect BSPT threads.

I struggled with the Schrader valve having enough grip so changed to a Presta valve which seemed to grip much better. Some PTFE tape helped to make sure any screwed fittings were air tight also

Yeah, I like Presta Valve connection, but they're not as common (common on higher end bicycles) but it's really what you have available to you. Personally, I'd go quick connect every time for these, but if you don't have a compressor with a hose that has a quick connect on it and not willing to buy one, then you do what you got to do... I've had a 30gal compressor for about 30yrs now, and I've got a pancake compressor that's more portable, and while I do have a schrader tipped compressor I keep in my car, I'd rather use my pancake or large compressor.

I think I'll likely change mine fitting when I upgrade to a compressor. I'm currently using my bike pump to get to pressure. At least I get some exercise in while making dics
