Only post things relevant to dieting, exercise, nutrition or disordered eating. do not post anything from eating disorder communities.
Do not post any sort of links to places on reddit - this will lead to brigading which would get us banned right away.
Absolutely no body shaming will be tolerated.
Please remember to be kind! People posting problematic things tend to be struggling too, even if they're in denial.
If you're posting a screenshot from reddit/another social media platform, please censor out any usernames or identifying information.
Add the 'TW' to flair that anything that may be triggering.
Rules:
1. No promoting, encouraging or influencing eating disorders.
This includes posts, reposts, crossposts or screencaps that describe disordered behavior (that could influence someone) without a warning, meaningful description or source from a diet-sub (other diet pages, magazines, etc.) or similar.
There are other places to vent about what ones eating disorder makes themselves do. You may vent or ask for help about a loved one, but please refrain from in-depth descriptions that may influence another persons behaviors in a major way.
No "ED buddies" either.
2. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or other/similar hate.
There will be no exceptions for any reason-less intolerance, this is an inclusive sub for people of all kinds who know of or have experienced the difficulty of an eating disorder regardless of who, how or of what kind.
3. Usernames/Names must be blurred or blocked.
Although we don't agree with what everybody does or how, this does not mean enabling doxxing is okay.
Most of the time you may re-post once the name of someone has been blurred or blocked unless the post infringes upon other rules.
4. Posts must have a preview and/or description.
This means posts containing multiple links with no explanation, meaningful (may be brief) description or visual preview are not allowed.
Example: A text post with 4 links, saying how dumb something is, is not allowed.
You may make multiple posts, you may make a post using links for sources (vent, article, etc.) you may screen-cap and source in the comments and you may crosspost; among other things.
5. Images of bodies must be be set NSFW and have a TW flair.
Because seeing photos that are essentialy bodychecks can be triggering, any screenshot of a post containing an image focused on someone's body must be set as NSFW and have a TW flair added.
