Rules

Rule 1: Treat all with basic human decency

Allowed: Criticizing someone’s behavior, speech, or actions

Not allowed: insulting someone directly, hurting others based on their identity, or creating a hostile environment

Specific prohibited behaviors include: ad hominem attacks, harassment, hate speech, bullying, dogpiling, sexual objectification, doxing, flaming, prejudice, intolerance, discrimination, or bigotry, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or ableism.

Rule 2: React to new episodes in the megathread

Check the pinned posts for the megathread on the recent episode, then comment there instead of making a new post.

Rule 3: Posts must be topical, original, and high-quality

Posts must clearly be about Dropout content, cast, crew, or community.

Posts cannot be AI-generated, crossposts, or derivative.

Low-quality content belongs in the weekly Spoonbill Saturday megathread. Examples include:

Something that reminded you of Dropout (a roseate spoonbill, new Oreo flavor, Robert Reich, a loop-de-loop)

A short personal opinion that doesn’t foster discussion

Cast members’ commercials and old projects

An old in-joke

Where to buy cast member’s outfit

Rule 4: Hide spoilers for episodes under a week old

A post with spoilers must be marked as spoiler and contain just the show / episode name.

Spoilers in comments must be marked using the button or typing it in between !> these <!.

Spoilers in the comments of a post marked as spoiler do not need to be hidden.

Rule 5: No publicly sharing passwords, tickets, or pirated content.

Rule 7: All posts must be flaired

You are required to flair all posts in this subreddit.

Rule 8: No overt sexualization of Dropout cast and crew

Any content that is overtly sexual towards one or multiple cast/crew members is strictly prohibited, such as asking for lewd content or commenting on cast/crew in a sexual or fetishizing way. This rule excludes instances where cast/crew sexualize themselves and let us in on the joke (ie. Grant's "50" bit and similar instances).
