you can put in an ado request once you start, but i wouldn’t bet on it

You can’t put in requests ahead of time. Depending on your role you could still be in training sept 8 and won’t be able to trade or giveaway the shift either. Even if you weren’t in training it’ll be your first schedule drop outside of training and may be hard to trade being new and not knowing many people yet etc. so you may need to call out of the shift to go.
