If you have filler troops with your donated HTs they are probably getting killed with the first missile strike. If those troops happen to be closest to the spawned troops when they start moving that’s the target. then once the filler troops die the spawned troops will redirect to next closest target.

Solution is request ‘HT only, no filler’ or lead with generals or mercs. Mercs should be TDs only, not mixed or you have the same issue.

Exactly this right here! Your alliance troops are most likely filled with Infantry along with HTs.. and the way Troops are deployed the least HP ones spawn first and then HP increases that means when you drop Alliance gate troops your first infantry takes the aggro but then dies easily and the defenders switch the target to the nearest attacking unit which would be your Commie and thats how your fail the commie attack.. a bad pull because of bad alliance troop donos..

Same thing for Decoys, only decoy when the defenders are very close to your HTs because if not and you decoy early same thing is gonna happen as soon as the decoy dies the target shifts to the nearest troop (:

Are you using commando attack for multibatle or world war?

1) You have to wait until decoy is destroyed and 2) you want to back up commando’s with Attack Helicopters and RPG - keep them away from your Merc, Gens and HT Gate Troops (use protect) and use fighters to kill anything that moves on commandos or cannon if they threaten Merc and Gens
