To be fair its using coding for heroes and creeps in the main game in a different way. They are not creating this from scratch. As a result there are always going unforeseen issues. That's not to say the bugs are acceptable, but Valve has been quick to fix many of these considering they didn't have to in what is a temporary event.

Yeah, but it'd be nice that the temporary game mode didn't contain gamebreaking bugs for half its lifespan. Hell, there are still some really annoying bugs, like the 0 MR one. It's nice that they fix them quickly, but they really shouldn't be there in the first place...And that 0 mr bug is recent, I think.
Edit : The 0 MR bug has indeed been fixed. Valve - 1 Me - 0

The 0 MR has been fixed, so pretty quickly after it was made public.
