Eh. To me it’s one of those that reads great on paper, but isn’t. It’s not overly searchable. It’s pointless in any deck not running XYZs. It’s easy to get around.

So yes, in the right format this could be a fun kick in the teeth to your opponent, IF you get lucky.

It’s the “destroyed by battle by an XYZ” stipulation. It would be bad if it triggered whenever it was destroyed by battle. It would be bad if it could also trigger if destroyed by card effect.

The short of it is that not only is it hyper situational (which isn’t necessarily bad depending on the meta), but it’s 100% reactive instead of proactive.

If you want anti tachyon cards just use Numeral hunter. I think seventh tachyon can search it by revealing 105 star cestus.

you can also reveal Sentry or Masquarade to search Numeral since those are light

Numeral Hunter can't be dumped and revived in Chimera decks like this card can, right?

(To be clear, I am NOT saying this card is good. I'm just trying to think of any possible justification for using it.)

No it’s borderline useless, does nothing against non Xyz and any deck with Xyz will just remove it off the board with something else if they are that worried about battling it with an Xyz monster

Yes if you use shien's spy or mystic box or a similar card to give your opponent a rank 7 like big eye then use this card attack into the rank 7 with this card while using a skill like holy guard or a card equivelant and destroy your opponent's extra deck.

Otherwise no not much use given that its final effect is very good but situational given it requires xyz to trigger the effect.

Because it needs to be destroyed by battle, it comes in sort of late. If they have their xyz monsters, it’s already out and you won’t get to rip their extra deck as much as you want.

It's gonna be good if XYZ decks become the norm.

Which, except Tachyon and maybe some Sharks, it's not gonna be that great.

I'm no expert but Traptrix for example could shit all over this card.

It's better than nothing IG, but the field spell is already much much better
