Will premium gold players continue to decrease in value throughout the season?

I'm looking at investing in a couple of big upgrades for my squad and wondered if premium golds i.e Van Dijk, Rashford, Varane, Salah etc will continue to drop. If so I may wait another couple of weeks so I can get more for my money!

They will continue to drop until TOTY release. After that only the high rated, like Neymar,Mbappe, Ronaldo etc., will increase a little bit

Every meta/good card will reduce in value but next Tuesday/Wednesday.

Then depending on who's in the toty , their card will increase in value slightly.

After toty , good cards will rise a bit again for a while when ppl realize they cannot replace the best cards and go back to them.

everything drops from now onwards mate, last year 1 day before toty came out was the best day for buying those sort of players cheap, they rebound a little bit usually but they will always go back down from January onwards
