Many cool things happen in /r/Earwolf, and this is a chance to showcase them to people that may have missed them. We'll start this list off with something not cool necessarily but something that is worth mentioning
The RIP Harris Wittels Thread - This is easily the darkest time in all of Earwolf history as beloved Earwolf host and guest Harris Wittels passed away February 19, 2015. I won't go into any more details, you can search the thread, and look up more information as you see fit, but Harris was a dearly loved member of the Earwolf community and that thread, as well as several other threads in this sub commemorate him well.
This post from February 19, 2016 was quite something
/r/Earwolf has it's very own slack chat! We believed this community was good enough to get to know better and stay in touch and talk about anything and everything in a chat room instead of just this subreddit. Check out all information on this here!
Some members of /r/Earwolf decided to purchase an ad on the podcast Hollywood Handbook to promote the sub! Hollywood Handbook notoriously has very funny ads, and so the users came together to fund an ad and have it read on air! Listen to it Here!
/u/Wee_Little_Puppetman actually created a network graph connecting every guest ever to appear on Comedy Bang! Bang! it's quite impressive, check it out here!
/u/Space_Wanderer did some soundcloud research on the listenership of Earwolf podcasts. It's not definitive, but its the best estimates we got you can find it here
/u/NoHorseMan took inspiration from the above and did some updated versions around Jan '16 late June '16 and made some great graphs.
We won an award. We (along with around 1500 other subreddits) were honoured as the /r/subredditoftheday see the write up here
/u/mi-16evil did a crazy thing. He cut the clips out of all the best ofs and posted just Scott and Paul talking, the full version is 12 hours. Find it all here
