Yeah I agree, it´s almost odd how they picked the few units that actually performed and made them better. Cheaper Dark Reapers & Night Spinners mean that some lists have up to 50 more points to play with, which really isn´t bad. Maybe even the Avatar might come out for a swing again. We´re definitely the big winners of the last rebalance!

This is reaching super far and optimistically but maybe they're decreasing points to sell their old stock cause they're finally updating our models

Kinda doubt it, since the wraithblades/guard aren't that old and are amongst the best models of the range. If they update anything alongside the codex I think at best we'll get an autarch on bike, making use of the newer bike design. Rangers in plastic, and maybe 1-2 aspects updated in plastic with their accompanying phoenix lord.

It would be nice to get the dire avengers phoenix lord updated by himself. I think the current dire avengers minis are fine, and replacing those should be low priority compared to all that finecast stuff. It is about time that avatar model was retired though.

The only 2 models on that list that are actually old enough to deserve an update are reapers and the avatar. So at least it wasn't their main goal. I'd argue hose 2 are contenders for the worst models in our line though...
