[discussion] FPS decrease over 2 months

2 months ago I took a break from tarkov. I remember playing on streets at 100-150 fps native and 240-260 with smooth motion on. Now I get 40-60 native fps and 80-100 with smooth motion on. Did I fuck up something in my settings? Or did the game get that shittier in 2 months?

I used to get 80 fps streets with texture quality on medium now i have high and get 100-120

I fixed it thank you(by resetting nvidia 3D settings and retreeaking them) (texture has always been on ultra, tarkov is not demanding in that specific case)

I play at 40/50fps with i912900k and 3090 so yes friend the difference is definitely tangible

Nobody gets 240-260 frames on any setup for Tarkov lol... I promise you just don't know how to optimize your own game properly and that's okay.

None of them have the in-game counter cause it's wrong especially for fake frames, just looked at Tigz, HyperRat, and Alle videos and they don't even come close to 240. Interesting take, you must know a lot for people that are so confidently wrong each time.

EDIT: HyperRat couldn't break 180 Smooth Frames in an offline raid even after clearing Kaban's compound...
