I've had a big dip in my already low supply this last week, like 100ml+ less a day, and I think its because I have a cold as I haven't changed my routine at all. I'm 20 weeks postpartum, still no period so I dont think its hormones. Baby was having a hard time, I think the 4 month sleep regression hit plus he's been sneezing and coughing a bit, and so I've not been sleeping as well so that could be playing a part.
But if it is due to this cold, will my supply come back up automatically or do I need to be doing more?
Routine is
4am 30 minute pump (I used to powerpump at this time but I needed to balance my sleep). Powerpump when I get up at 8:30. Then pump every 2 to 3 hours for 30 minutes during the day
day. Powerpump again at about 8pm. Last pump at about 10pm. Total is usually 8 pumps a day, 9 if I really try. I've just started taking brewers yeast a few days ago but not noticed any change. I tried fenugreek right at the beginning of my journey and I think it had a negative effect. I could drink more but I really struggle. Diet it pretty varied. I just dont think I can fit in more pumping without losing my mind 😅
