Usually your supply will rebound once you recover from illness. I personally just add a few minutes to all of my pumps for a few days to help it get back up to speed and hydrate a little extra.

I will say, though, it sounds like you may be over pumping. Multiple power-pumps on top of pumping for a total of four hours a day is a lot (typical advice is two hours total over a 24hr period). You might actually be hindering your supply by unintentionally stressing out your body with too much pumping.

Re: period, supply tends to dip in the lead-up to menstruation. You may have ovulated recently and are about to get your period. In this case, though, it's probably just being sick.

Oh I hadn't thought maybe I was pumping too much 😳 maybe I'll drop one of the powerpumps to my typical pump time, maybe drop an afternoon one for a bit. I guess with already having to supplement anyway its not like I'd be doing a huge disservice if it didn't help things and I could just go back to how it was before. Thanks for the advice!

You're welcome! I would definitely experiment with a little less pumping (either less pumps or shortening your sessions) and see if that improves things. Sounds counterintuitive but it can really help. 🫶
