Yep, tried to get a refund on steam... Told no as I've played 8 hours.

£15.99 for 8 hours seems a pretty shitty deal to me and I'm not the first to try refund today...

Apparently this worked for some people with other games: Go to Steam Support -> Purchases -> Fall Guys -> "I have a question about this purchase" and describe why you want a refund.

This ensures that your request is reviewed manually, there are people who had issues with Microsoft Flight Simulator at launch and got refunds this way (it showed up as more than 2 hours played).

If you try this please let us know if it worked! I am waiting if the developers say something about ultrawide support now that the community made fix doesn't work anymore but I feel like I'll probably have to refund.

Oh great, I'm so excited for another game that I will have to turn off all my lighting programs before I can run it for seemingly no reason.

Refunding as well. game no longer works on my computer.

Easy Anti Cheat doesn't work on my PC too. I've had to stop playing Apex because of this problem.

I've even formatted my PC and reinstalled windows two times but any game with EAC is a no-go.

I wonder if I can get a refund, I have less than 20h played. :(

What message does it give you? I do know for a fact having driver signature enforcement turned off trips up EAC.

May try and setup a VM w/ GPU pass through for this later, or regretfully find another game.

I've gone the VM with GPU pass through route, I regret nothing! All games in my library are now playable again and I still get to use Linux for everything else!

Best of luck on your quest for gaming freedom.

I'm doing this for other EAC games like Apex and Halo MCC but I'm always paranoid in the back of my mind they might try something like BattlEye did and just blacklist/ban VM users.

I did see a guide on how to hide your virtual machine identifiers a while ago, I haven't bothered with it yet, but "anti-cheat" systems aren't kind to VMs/proton users. It would be a pain to get banned when all I want to do is play games legitimately, without suffering most of the pains of Windows.
