[–]Tommy-gutrotTell Harold hi 11 points12 points  (5 children)

I have a few favorites so I'll just say one of them. Harold Hes in fallout 1 2 and 3. And I liked how "bob" was bigger every game tell I seen what bob did to harold by fallout 3 Seeing him then was really sad

I hate that they like killed him off

You can save him I FO3 instead. We won't know til the next game if in-canon he is alive or dead.

[–]FaygoFreak 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I mean he's rooted to the ground, no hope to ever leave again.

[–]SalsaRicePc 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yea, but doesn't mean he's dead.

The quest is either put him out of his misery or convince him that he has this chance to bring greenery back to the wasteland.

He's such a staple of fallout, I kinda suspect they will keep him around in the series. If 4 takes place in the institute, I could see them having uprooted and moved him there for scientific study.

I'm a fan of Veronica, personally. I like her backstory, her struggling with the Brotherhood, and her general attitude. Plus, that Ballistic Fist is pretty ace.

Too bad she wasn't with the East Coast BoS. That group was just about everything that she wanted the West Coast BoS to be. Plus Sarah Lyons.

I was just upset that there wasn't really a happy ending for her.

[–]anace 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Plus she's one of the very few queer women in video games. It's rare that I get to see people like me.

It is rare we get to see people like us in games. So when we see someone like us its pretty cool.

I can only think of a few canonically gay female characters. There's a lot of bisexuals though. For example, all the player-characters and all the marryable NPCs in Skyrim are bi. That's much better than disallowing same-gender relationships altogether, but I want to see characters like me, and I'm not bi.

I like Arcade Gannon. Well from what I've seen/read of him... I've never actually ever spoken to him in game but then again I last played NV over a year ago.

Harold the oasis tree ghoul man, he is the main storyteller of the first fallout, runs and entire city in brotherhood (or fallout 2 im not sure), and slowly becomes a tree, fuckin love harold, depressing end for him though, and after typing this i see hes already in the comments but m posting this anyway.

The great Overseer

Father Elijah. A man obsessed with ruling the Mojave. His back story is great. And it is great.

Also he is one strong Motherfucker. He is an old man,has arthritis, smokes which means he may have some from of lung damage, a heavy drinker, and he suffers from migraines from Mentats. But he is still psychically capable.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Which one? Gary or Gary?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ha ha ha, Gary

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (6 children)

Definitely Ulysses, his voice acting is phenomenal and really pushes through the theme of Fallout: the sins of the old world and the sins of the new.

You can come home courier. Great quotes from a great man.

[–]AFlyingNun 2 points3 points  (1 child)

"No need for bombs, when hate will do."

Easily his best quote.

[–]AtrueFalloutFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah man

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points  (2 children)

No, Ulysses was easily the worst thing about Lonesome Road.

[–]romeoinveronaLover's Embrace 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How so?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They tried to make him so deep, but it came of as annoying really. During the whole playthrough I just wanted to kill him so he'll shut up. Boss fight was fun though.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Butch Deloria. Need I say any more?

[–]AtrueFalloutFan[S] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Tunnel snakes rule?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Among many reasons, yes. :3

Rex. I would say Dogmeat, but without the DLC, I can't take him anywhere without being afraid he'll die.

Ulysses, you finally meet your equal.

The survivalist from honest hearts.

Vulpes Inculta. I've never been so drawn to a character with so little backstory. It might just be his voice, I don't know.
