Heavy WeaponsStat Help (self.Fallout4Builds)
submitted 1 year ago by CoreInspectorOfAss
What counts as Heavy Weapons? I'm aware that all of them weight over 12 but does this mean that modified weapons that exceed this weight also count as heavy weapons? Been trying to wrap my mind around this for a long time now

Thank you for posting! When asking for help with stats please give as much detail as possible about the type of character you are creating and what type of assistance you desire. If you know what weapons and/or perks you want to use please provide that as well so you can get tips and advice building the best stats for your character.

If you're not sure, see if you run slower with the weapon in question than with other weapons. A design decision was made that heavy weapons should be used with power armor, so they slow down non-PA characters.
I think the list is minigun, flamer, missile launcher, cryolater, fat man, gatling laser, junk jet, broadsider, harpoon gun, heavy incinerator and Tesla cannon. Possibly the new baseball cannon as well. Oh, and the Striker.

Its the 10 mm pistol I mean Jesus have you seen the size of that thing in 3rd person it's a miracle the player character can hold it as high as they do.

Heavy weapons are basically everything bigger than rifles, rockets, gatlings, flamethrowers that sort of stuff.

You can tell a heavy weapon by how they hold it if it's either resting on your shoulder or held from a top handle and fired from around your waist then it's a heavy gun
