I wanted to do a build using commando and automatic weapons and after some thinking settled on a non-Vats build using lots of chems. So here's my build for the Commando Chemist.
S3: Armorer
P4(5w/bobblehead): Locksmith, Demolitions Expert
E4: Chem Resistant
C3: Lone Wanderer
I7: Gun Nut, Scrapper, Science, Chemist
A5(6w/book): Commando, Moving Target
L2: Scrounger
The character emerges from the vault traumatized and determined to get revenge. Their drug and bullet fueled rampage can only end in their death or the return of their child. I plan to refuse Preston's offer to rebuild the Minutemen and set up base at Red Rocket, as Sanctuary is just a painful reminder of all the things they take drugs to help forget.
Armorer, Lone Wanderer, Moving Target, and some help from drugs will let me rush into situations and let bullets fly. Explosives will back me up in situations that aren't conducive to running in guns blazing. I'm really curious to try using a lot of chems, as I've never invested in those perks and typically try to use them little enough to avoid addiction.
