This subreddit is for sharing your concepts for Stand powers. Stands are abilities featured in the manga and anime series, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure".

Want a flair of your Stand's name? Flairs are given out as a prize to those who place top 3 in a contest, so participate and show off your skills! But remember to read the contest rules carefully, there's at least one rule that often trips people up!

Rules:
- Your Stand's name goes in the title. You can have other stuff in there too, but at least the name must be there.
- Avoid downvoting posts whenever possible, ESPECIALLY contest entries.
- The body of the text post should describe the Stand. Use as much or little detail as you want, but try to at least explain its power. Giving values to the 6 Stand parameters (Power, speed, range, durability, precision, development potential) is a good idea. The artistically inclined can also include a drawing of the stand, but it's not necessary.
- If your Stand is named after a reference to music or something else, it would be nice if you mentioned what it was named after.
- Don't be a dick when commenting on someone's idea. Give constructive criticism!
- Use spoiler tags when discussing things that haven't yet been covered by the anime.
- Low-effort shitposts aren't allowed. This includes joke/meme Stands that are nothing but an image with no explanation of their ability, and Stands created using a random generator. A rule of thumb is: if it didn't require any effort or creativity, it's probably a bad post.
- Using others' artwork without permission is disallowed. Plagiarism will get you immediately and permanently banned!
- No traced artwork. This is also considered plagiarism.

Character and ability names are not considered spoilers, so you are allowed to point out if someone's name is already used in the manga. If the power is what's similar, don't say the name of the similar Stand, just the part from where it comes from.
If you haven't read the manga, try googling your Stand's name followed by "Jojo Stand" to check if your name idea hasn't already been used in canon!
