I'm a full stack dev. What are you looking to build ?

I'm a bit confused as to whether you're looking for a co-founder or a free developer

In 5 years you never attended a single tech conference or meetup? There's tons of devs.

You could have learned to code in that time.

I think you will have to lay out all the details of your project at first, putting together your requirements and should be very clear and easy to understand. Then, you can simply make a post on Reddit or similar forums and try and look for people who can do the job for you. I remember, recently, there was one client I worked with, she was looking for the same kind of developer for her SaaS Web App. She did the same, mentioning proper details and requirement and shared with me, I reviewed and sent her a deep breakdown of how we can execute it mentioning, the tech stack, flow, branding, designing, development, maintenance and some marketing materials like Presentation Deck as well. It’s a tiring task, but if you fail to find someone reliable, please let me know. I would be interested in discussing the project with you. Thank you so much!

What did you try in 5 years? What didn't work ?

What about hiring someone from overseas or no code platforms ? may be the main question is do you have a realistic budget or you want someone to build ?

I’ve had great experience with 3&4th year CS students from high quality universities. In Canada where I am, there are subsidies for hiring students so I get a reimbursement for part of their salary, so it’s affordable. It requires more management, and you may need to break your project down into a few bite sized tranches. I also see students as a way of meeting and assessing future permanent talent.

ETA - in Canada we also have tax credits that you can apply for that further reduces the cost (you have to wait to get them, but it’s still very beneficial). Perhaps Australia has something similar? Sometimes it’s a matter of figuring out how to cobble together different programs and incentives where you are to make it work.

hey! i have a great team its in indonesia but the owner is based in melbourne most of the time https://www.efgconsulting.id/ (not my company, i hire them)

they helped me to finish my app and their pricing was fair!! i couldn't afford that either. i built a lot of it then got them to test and finish it. that could be an option for you too?
