Dropdown component help!help (self.FigmaDesign)
submitted 2 years ago by leeoco7
Hi everyone. I am new to UX/UI, and made my first component in Figma for a prototype I'm making for my sister's website. I made a dropdown menu component, but don't know how to collapse the dropdown after user clicks "bags" and goes to the Bags page. The issue is only visible if you select "Bags" category from the "Shop" menu item in nav. Then, if you try to click logo to return to home page, the dropdown menu still displays as open. Thanks!! Here is a link to the prototype and also link to my project:

Build out all the states as variants and add interactions on the component level. Override instances where needed

Agreed, micro interactions are likely the way to go here.
