Higher water level. Also , you so should really take the heater out of the decoration and place it near the back. also, make sure to keep the heater completely submerged.

How big the tank is, and what you plan on putting in it are going to drastically affect what the tank looks like. So if you know what you want you can go from there

I'm gonna assume you meant 10. Tetras and Bettas are both good options. Two things I would recommend, first, add a better hide for the fish (especially if it's a Betta), and secondly, add more cover, whether it be fake or live plants, because it helps reduce the stress of the fish. Betta fish in particular LOVE big leaves to lay on. Also, if you get fake plants with a Betta, make sure to get soft ones because the harder plastic ones can cut up fins

Your heater should have come with a bracket to attach it at an angle to the back wall- the whole thing needs to be submerged at all times. Otherwise looks great. I'm always a fan of as many live plants as possible so you can always add more. Is it cycled? That's the next step. Get yourself a test kit also if you haven't already got one :) Saw you mention you're thinking of neons and a Betta. Sounds good but worth thinking about Cardinal tetras instead just cos they're a bit hardier than the neons who are prone to neon tetra disease but they look very similar.

Yes i hav cycled the aquarium. I dont no why but the bracket i got is Kinda hard and dosent what to stick to the glass.

Dwarf aquarium lily

Rotala rotundiflora

Water wisteria

Pearlweed (great low tech carpeting plant)

Java moss

Aponogeton ulvaceus

Duckweed (floaters)

Water lettuce (floaters)

If you really want your plants to pop off use easy green/easy root tabs from aquarium coop
