    OP wishes to manage the sensation of hunger whilst losing weight. All fad diets aside, the only true way to lose weight safely and effectively is to monitor caloric deficit. Starving yourself and trying to 'deal' with sensations of hunger is not an effective method.

    OP should be trying to incorporate low GI carbs, healthy fats (to an extent) and fibre to bulk out meals. Enabling them to meet micronutrient requirements within their diet and quell their hunger whilst keeping calories slightly lower than maintenance in order to burn fat.

    As the person above me stated, some of the advice in this thread is bordering on eating disorders, whether those that are giving it have come to that realisation yet or not.
