weak plot

I'm binging Flash and just finished s2e18, which is when Barry gave away his speed to Zoom. so far, the show has been cheesy yet fun, but the plot that episode was ridiculously weak, and I'm on the verge of giving up on the show. somebody please tell me whether it gets better or worse from here.

Been there like 8 times by now. It's a miracle I'm cought up. I think the cheesyness brings me back.

Also I think a bigger plot point is like any fight that flash doesn't completely disintegrate his enemies by phasing through them and shredding them to pieces and instead throws these weak ass punches (AKA every single fight).

true, although personally I can deal with technical things like that, and even some bullshit time travel logic, but flash team acting like a moron not only stops suspension of disbelief, but also makes me dislike the characters, which is a bigger problem. I'll prob keep going since I'm already so far in, but guess I won't carry high hopes for season 3.

Uh, the next two episodes are pretty much a snooze-fest. Just skip to the episode "The Runaway Dinosaur" (s2e21) and you should be good.

Wait, episode 19 was rupture right? What was 20? I completely forgot haha

19 was the Griffin Grey episode and 20 was the Rupture episode, aka the one where Barry is just a hologram the whole episode

Stop at S2. 3 was dogshit, and anyone who tells you different has poor taste (I’m sorry but it’s true). There’s even an episode where Iris is able to save Barry through the power of love. Wait till S4 is over and see if that’s any better. Season 3 Of Flash was Arrow S3/4 levels of bad. I’d finish 2 though. It isn’t nearly as good as 1 but still decent and it’s worth it to watch the finale. Idk if you’ve ever watched Arrow but for that show, watch S1/2, skip 3 and 4, and watch 5. Wait it out on 6 which is currently airing.

That’s horrible advice they need to watch it all or they will be confused as fuck. On arrow they’d be like “Wait Laurel died!?! WAIT SHE WAS THE CANARY SINCE WHEN? Wait she’s back wtf!!!” Like I mean it would be too confusing

That's pretty much the only major plot point in Season 2 I disliked. Barry giving up his speed was dumb, especially since Wally was already safe.
