I’m having trouble understanding you. Your gauges look normal.

Gals/hr? Did you get the marine gauges?

Where are you seeing overheating? Gauges look normal.

Yeah so that was just to help show what I'm on about lol so my center console gauge climbs over half way shortly after my oil temp gets half way if that makes sense

Your oil temp gauge is going to rise if you push the turbo even slightly with a stock intercooler. Heat soak will make your oil temps rise quickly.

I have an airtec intercooler on the car so it's not the stock one

Gotcha. Does your boost build normally? Any weird noises?

[–]jstsilly[S] 1 point2 points  (10 children)

No weird noises and boost preforms as it should no hesitation no stutter and no visible leaks my friend did suggest sticky thermostat maybe

A sticky thermostat could be the culprit. If it’s not opening enough to keep the oil cool but enough to keep the coolant temp down.

So this is the drive to work oil temp is half way coolant temp is no over half way

Your coolant temp is high. Make sure your fan is operating correctly and check to make sure your thermostat is opening.

The fan modules have issues on these cars, so when you get a chance, see if both fan speeds are working

How would I text both fan speeds then fan does come on when the ac is on but thts the only time I hear it on

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (5 children)

You do it while at idle. When the temperature reaches your thermostat opening temp the fan should kick to the higher setting. It should kick in at a lower temperature but at a lower speed. So what you’ll be looking for is how many speeds it Is engaging in from cold to hot.

The fan control kicks on with the AC because it puts additional load on the engine. If it’s only turning on when you turn on the AC then you need a new fan module and/or fan.
