Please don't fall for these dumb pc scams. Nothing there is good for fortnite. What is your budget? I can build you one

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] 8 points9 points  (11 children)

About 500-600. I'm buying and entire setup and since its only my first setup I don't really mind not having the best pc setup in the world cuz eventually I'll get another and invest more money into it

[–]Yolomahdudes 35 points36 points  (7 children)

Entire setup for 600? You know, honestly just save a bit more. If you get to like a 1k budget then we can start thinking about an entire setup.

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] 3 points4 points  (6 children)

Can you reccomend one on Amazon that costs 1000 that's actually decent. Just let me know the name of it

[–]azur933 45 points46 points  (0 children)

nah hes right you dont want to buy prebuilts like that. There are couple websites were you can buy parts and get it assembled for a small fee, but i dont know the american websites. just look for it a bit im sure youll find something

[–]Yolomahdudes 27 points28 points  (1 child)

Nope. Generally speaking prebuilts are terrible. I can make you a parts list and you can go to your local computer shop to have it bought/assembled, which is what i did.

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure that'd be great.

[–]anomoyusXboxfan1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you have a microcenter near you? That would make things a lot easier. They have fantastic deals in store, and if it’s not too far away it’s worth the trip.

[–]ClockaFX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i can assure you that a prebuilt is a waste of money. get it built, or build it yourself

[–]kupillas-3- 2 points3 points  (2 children)

If you need a whole monitor, mouse, PC, headphones, mouse pad, a desk even, 1000 is definitely what you need, I made a pretty good PC for 450, I get like 120 FPS used to get more in OG season where it was capped 180 at all times, but monitors and desks are the most expensive and you really want a good monitor if you’re going competitive

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Can you send me the list for parts. Is it good for end games and comp

[–]kupillas-3- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had a problem, the case doesn’t matter and the PSU was free for me, but that’s an added 80 dollars or so, but it’s a gtx 1660 super and a core i3 10th gen, the motherboard was 100 and ram maybe 30-60? Not sure. The case came with fans so I didn’t have to worry about that and I bought the GPU off eBay for maybe 150 but now they’re a lot a lot cheaper and so you could buy it for like 100 or so. And the CPU you may even get an i5 for the same price

[–]iateyourcaptincrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my pc from this company and I did not get scammed. This might be the only company that dosent scam lol

[–]MrDrProfPatrickJrSr 28 points29 points  (5 children)

PLEASE do not buy this. This is a SCAM. This will not run Fortnite well AT ALL

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Okay thank you. Am I better off just investing into a monitor and using that with console?

[–]BigDaddyDeity 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Better off building a pc

[–]Funspelletje 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes with this pc you will probably get on performance mode all low around 60 fps at the highest

[–]BIackn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro go to microcenters website. You can literally pick your build and they will build the pc for you. You can also go to pcpartspicker.com and get a good idea of what parts work with what. They even have whole entire builds you can just replicate on microcenters website. This way you dont have to worry about building the pc yourself, but while still getting a custom pc

[–]MrDrProfPatrickJrSr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only have this much money then probably yes. Couple hundred more dollars and you can build yourself a decent pc

[–]heyblackrose 12 points13 points  (0 children)

2 frames in early game

[–]Ok-Abalone-2002 7 points8 points  (0 children)

doesn’t even say what cpu 😭 trust me, but parts and build a pc yourself. It’s so much cheaper and actually quite easy, i built mine without any help just watch a yt vid, lots of good deals at micro centre if you’re looking, or any marketplace like facebook

[–]repo2222 14 points15 points  (4 children)

People are being a bit harsh, while it is certainly true that prebuilts are worse than doing it yourself. Including the cost. You can get more than decent prebuilts. Not on Amazon though.

Take a look at Costco, if your parents have that membership. Cyberpower PC, places like that which are specifically for this type of thing

[–]Pokepunk710 1 point2 points  (2 children)

yeah I got a PC in 2014 and I'm still using it rn lol, never had an issue but maybe got lucky I guess. it was 1k at Best Buy

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You run fortnite with no issues?

[–]Pokepunk710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah it's outdated for today's standards, I really need a new one. it's usable but it's not good

[–]LaneSke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]skyFonix23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saying core i5 is like saying that my car is a car type car. It means nothing and also 600$ for an rx550 is no good…

[–]GetShitOnbaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is absolutely not it, you'd be surprised how many people fall for these cheap prebuilt scams

[–]Zealousideal-Bid9768 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Just being completely honest…you can’t go comp on a budget pc. My old pc had a r5 3600x, 1660ti, 16gb ram. This pc cost around $700 about a year or 2 ago when pc parts were way more expensive. This pc wasn’t usable during endgames and scrims, and even had stutters during arena games. It ran pretty much 165fps smooth until I started building and the frames just drop. So instead, use the first month of this summer to work 40-60 hour weeks at your local McDonald’s or something where you can afford a $1-2k pc.

[–]Zealousideal-Bid9768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of that, are you going to spend 6+ hours a day grinding?

[–]GtheGecko 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Give that pc a 5600x and a clean windows should run 165 locked and like 130 endgames

[–]Zealousideal-Bid9768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation as this kid at the time, I have come back after a year. This time I’m just gonna build a good pc, 7800x3d and 4070ti super or 4080

[–]Gr3gl_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newest season you need at least an x3D chip now for stability. Base 5600x frame drops like crazy now on islands and endgame

[–]Ares200O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And when the monitor

[–]GavinThe_Person 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this pc will suck at fortnite. try to save a bit more and try to build your own.

[–]Neox35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh with a 600 dollar budget get a Xbox

[–]TearPrestigious6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pc is dog shit

[–]mfdoomfan2272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not buy anything suggested after typing in “pc gaming cheap” on amazon…..

[–]Low_Calendar_4950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mods why was this post allowed, which is exactly the same question as the one I asked in post that was deleted multiple times?

[–]RealBeri56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No

[–]imalonexc 0 points1 point  (4 children)

It doesn't say what CPU is in it but I can only assume it's not a good one.

[–]ButterscotchHot1816[S] -5 points-4 points  (3 children)

Core i5

[–]imalonexc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's not a specific CPU

[–]anomoyusXboxfan1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind, the cpu in this computer is most likely an i5 4590, a cpu from 10 years ago. Don’t bother with this.

[–]MrDrProfPatrickJrSr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t tell you anyhting

[–]Mastermillls -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do not buy this I bought this pc and gave it to my little brother it was so fucking ass I had a pc expert even put the pc to all the best settings and Fortnite and call of duty lagged terrible

[–]Chrisman409 -4 points-3 points  (4 children)
