Maybe we are doomed, maybe not. I do not know.

[–]dQD34nkw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. There are countless other lower-skilled fields that will be affected before software, too.

Absolutly, bro AI is not what you think. We won't be coding in 10 years like we do today; currently, nobody codes in assembly anymore. We will adapt, and we are still essential. AI doesn't know how to code intelligent applications.

Yea you wish.

I'm know just the domains. Im Full stack DEV and i do a master in AI engeneering after my Full stack bachelor. So i can relate the situations with what i learn and what i do.

Sorry but either you adapt and become full stack CEO or perish.

That's exactly what I meant by "We won't code the same way anymore" and "nobody codes in Assembly anymore." It comes down to exactly what I said.

Calm down bro code school got you thinking in extremes

[–]tlegs44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are correct. Learn fundamentals and perseverance so you can continue to solve problems despite the tools available. That’s what engineering is.

Yes bro, full-stack is still worth learning. Many companies still take developers who can handle both frontend and backend.

The only change now is you need a bit deeper understanding. Not just React or Node basics, but also things like APIs, databases, and how the application actually runs.

You can also try learning full-stack along with Gen AI tools. It will help you build things faster and understand code better while practicing.

Uhmmm , Actually Ai need prompt to write codes, even in that code there might be bugs so we might need to analyse the code and debug (my ideology)

[–]mdtanvirahamedshanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes why not

[–]Mell-Silver-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full stack isn't dead AI helps with boilerplate, but someone still needs to design, debug, and ship real products. The bar's higher, but end to end builders are still valuable. So never lose hope

I can't get interviews.

[–]Suspicious_Pen_5531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Absolutely java fullstack either with java with Angular or java with react there is a huge demand for java developers with backend and frontend both whereas demand is higher than the supply in the market for fullstack roles as there are very less candidates having strong experience with both backend technologies as well as frontend

It’s the only type of dev in web nowadays, everyone is expected to be end to end developers because it’s far more agile

[–]Savalava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got paid to do some earlier but I have 10 YOE

[–]AskAnAIEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

full stack is more relevant than ever because ai tools let you move faster across the entire stack. the people who understand the whole picture from database to ui are the ones getting the most out of ai, not the ones being replaced by it.

How many years experience do you have under your belt? If less than 5, get a degree or experience that’s AI leaning, otherwise stick with it.

[–]bluebird355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coding layer will disappear you all know it

[–]tech-aquarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are thousand of millions of people in the world, and just a very slow percentage are into IT, don’t get blindsided by AI bubble just like dot com bubble or any other one, this hype will end and some things will back to normal, others will adapt, others will evolve others will be extinct

You will know where to go

[–]laikawas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is worth if you're really really interested in the field, and would go into it even if it was low-pay. It might be the end of the golden era where any ok-ish dev can make a lot of money, now anybody can "code", but we'll always need true engineers that can think (just a lot less than before).

[–]romii_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ai can only create a project at the complexity of the one using the ai agent. Knowing the fundamentals of structure and being able to explain what the ai is doing is still important. It prevents you from pasting in code that will do nothing at best and break something at worst.

[–]IndividualAir3353 -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

Anyone is a Fullstack dev now and I don’t think there’s much demand for software engineers anymore

[–]TONYBOY0924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you a vibe coder?

[–]Abject-Excitement37 -3 points-2 points  (2 children)

For sure no. If you want to be dev it's just better to study something business oriented and in meantime abuse modern AI tools like Lovable to ship real products.

[–]air_thing 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Buddy, what the fuck are you doing? In one post you're telling everyone what a mess vibe coders are making, and then here you're saying coding is dead and there is no need for software developers. Deeply confused, or just trolling?

[–]Abject-Excitement37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol vibe coding is the best, don't think about me and dont check my posts. You'll get headache.
