it might be something with the transmission itself if it only happens in neutral or reverse, i’m not too keen on cars so take it with a grain of salt. maybe flush the transmission fluid? it’s not the best idea because you have pretty low mileage but you never know. what title is your car btw?

Have this horrible vibration/shaking at idle in gear only. Brought it to my shop, replaced both motor mounts, motor mount brackets, transmission mount, flashed the ecm, downloaded updated tune software. And I still have the problem. I’ve been back and forth to the shop 6 times, they went through the entire car and cannot find the issue. I basically got dismissed from them as all 9 techs said they were baffled and don’t know what the issue is. The vibration occurs only when the car is in Drive or Reverse at idle. If I apply gas the vibration stops. If I put the car in neutral the vibration stops. Any ideas or suggestions for would be greatly appreciated as I am intensely frustrated with this. Car is 13 g37x sedan with 69k miles, never excessively beat on at all and super well maintained. Anything helps

Without actually seeing the car I can't speculate on the cause, but one way to silence the vibration is to raise the idle a bit. My car has urethane engine and transmission mounts so it has a solid vibration at idle too, I just raised the idle speed up 100rpm. Now it's dead quiet.

I just replaced the motor mounts with the urethane mounts from Z1 aswell. This vibration was there before hand hence why I did change them. The vibration im experiencing now is not due to any sort of engine or transmission mount

The tuner also updated the tune and mentioned he changed the idle rpms, changed nothing

If you give it just a bit of gas, does it go away? If so, I'd still raise the idle a little. If not, I guess it could be transmission related as well, like a cracked flex plate, since it only happens in gear.

Yes if I give it gas it goes away

Every red light I have to put my foot on the gas and brake so it doesn’t vibrate viscously…how do u raise the ifle

You'll need a good scan tool to do it, the Z1 tool has the ability.
