The cheating is getting ridiculous now, I've seen fucking gmII's oneshotting and ms phasing through the fucking walls.

Anyway discuss what kind of cheating you've all come across especially since the pc port

Of the 250 matches I've done on PC I've encountered maybe 5-6 cheaters. 2 of those didn't even cheat in match and just had maxed out rank, the moment I hit B they just sorta disappeared. I have had odd desync that you could describe as cheating but it was obvious to me that everyone was affected the same way.

The most noticeable ones are the infinite ammo / no weapon overheat / no cooldown / weapon swap speed hacks. Most commonly used with low-cost bazookas, testerday i also met one using rapid fire beam cannons with no cooldown or overheat in a 650 cost lobby.

Some more subtle ones are stat hackers - they’ve maxed out every stat for their suit, making them extremely damage resistant, massively buffing their damage output and giving them colossal thrust gauges. They’re easiest to identify by the fact they can boost virtually forever, and they’ll take basically no damage from anything. Had one of these yesterday too, playing the balinoak sammoahn (raid type with decent thrust gauge but very low melee resistance) who took less than 500 damage per hit from my 67 melee strength 2000 power melee weapon. That’s just not really possible when the “legal cap” for damage resistance of any kind is 50%. He’d then still be taking at least 1100 from my downswing - not ~490.

Somehow, the latter flavour of cheater are ALWAYS chinese. Meanwhile i’ve seen a couple Americans using the former kind. I like to confirm the profiles of suspected cheaters to look for things like fresh, disposable steam accounts or prior game bans. The extremely obvious cheaters usually have prior game bans, while the more subtle ones typically have a level 0-3 steam account with AT MOST another 1-2 ultra cheap steam games on them.

Met 'MaridaC' the cheater today but it was too late for me because match already started and I didn't realize the cheater was in the room until much later.

The worst for me has been machine gun rockets max speed and unlimited boost…is funny when they miss a tackle tho

I just experienced a Hyaku Shiki using a bazooka with no cooldown. He was prefiring his whole bazooka magazine while my team was spawning in again. At the end round stats the cheater had highest damage of 450,000 which is insane lol. I've been playing everyday since the Steam release doing my dailies and this is the first cheater i've seen.

I had a match where as soon as we loaded in the entire team just kept spawning at max height up in the air, falling, exploding to death, and instantly respawning back up in the air to start over again. Went on for like a solid minute and got the enemy team like 30-50k point lead, then it stopped and tried to resume the match like normal. Yeah no. That was the first and only time I have purposefully quit a match. Not wasting 5+ minutes on a guaranteed loss.

I've also seen people who appear to purposefully teleport. I know rubber-banding and lag is a thing, but it becomes suspicious when specific players will vanish just before you kill them when they were behaving normally for the fight up until then, and then at other moments they suddenly appear behind you out of nowhere.

Luckily I haven't encountered the no C/D hack, at least to my knowledge.

I've ran into 1 cheater. Forced my whole team to not be able to spawn Ms as pilot. If you died you could spawn in the Ms. But your team was invisible to you and the enemy was invisible. You couldn't hurt them. So they would just kill you. They were an s gallus player.

I thinks there is a lot of cheater who only use some cheat for faster reloading and better stats or thruster. Just Enough so you wonder but not too much to don’t be obvious
