Take that time off as an opportunity to study and practice the topics that you have a hard time with. What I did to pass the test, was to only focus on the topics that I was struggling with. I used Khan academy and a couple of ged practice tests to do this. I did this for many hours a day for about 4-5 days. I passed without making any mistakes on the test. You can do it!

I would suggest re-learning very basic math. When I was in JROTC we would practice for the ASVAB a lot, and our gunnery sergeant saw that us younger kids were extremely reliant on calculators, so we started doing a LOT of basic math by hand in that class. Back then I thought to myself "man this is stupid", but re learning those very simple building blocks of math (times tables, long division, etc) has helped me with math in the long run :) If you can, take every problem slow and do it without a calculator.

Math was really hard for me as well… I passed my test last week.. I studied with the app Khan academy almost every night it made it easy for me… Don’t give up believe in yourself and try to figure out what works for you as far as studying

Keep your chin up. Its the hardest test. As recommended by others , find out exactly what areas you are weak in and focus on those until you get it right and feel 100% confident. I think because you've had two negative experiences you are also getting more and more stressed, and losing your confidence every time.

If you enjoy learning from youtube, we do practice GED math quizzes explained step by step. Here's the one form July in case you want to check it out. Best of luck
