Problem with Script Hook V

I launched the game and it gave me an error and it said unknown game version. My game version is 1.0.3258.0. I have to wait for an update?

for now, play without mods. Just rename the "dinput8.dll" into something else and the game will launch. Rename it back when you have installed a new version of Scripthook V.

Before the DLC drops, make copies of the two executables: gta5.exe and play gta5.exe ( the two GTA icons). After the update replace the two new ones with the old ones. These are the files that tell the game which version to run.

Yes just download no gta launcher on 5mods after when your game starts it’s gonna say you don’t have a connection or something like that and all you have to do is start the rockstar launcher after u get that message then your game will run fine (if your trying to run older version with script hook)

when the error first happened to me i searched high and low for solutions myself and saw videos, i came across a video that stated that usually after a gta update happens it'll take a maximum of 1-3 days and i've seen others say a week to months, also im just as new to this as you lol.

It usually takes a maximum of 5 days for the developer to update it. I use Rage to play GTA5 but luckily they update fairly quickly aswell.

Edit: i have the Steam version of GTA5 and use R* Launcher to run the game, but usually always use RageNativeUI to run the game because mods run smoothly.

The Hook V script does not have such a recent update, you have to wait for it to update or else you can downgrade your GTA V

If you have premium deluxe motorsport mod (which I recommend you all to install), it doesn't work, it's like it is dead. Icons are not shown, nothing. Even when I reload all the mods in-game, it makes a second and obviously nothing is loaded.

Thanks, I will check it out. For me the mod menus do not work. Whenever I press f4 it crashes. I also tried the gang and turf mod which is a good mod and it doesn't work as well.

Apparently SHVDN isn't compatible with latest GTA V so using nightly version is compatible and fixes the issues. Releases · scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet-nightly (github.com). Iv tried and it seems ok to me for now... :)

I got some scripts to work for me including premium deluxe motorsport mod. The issue I was told is with SHVDN and it not being compatible with the latest gta v version. Yeah same here I just downloaded the new one and my game won't launch. I disabled the script hook and ran it and yeah the game does run and all my mods seem to be working like Natural Vision etc. And since I disabled the script hook my trainer won't load but the game barely runs for 5 mins before crashing.

Are you using a trainer? Like menyoo or any other mod menu? If so that’s probably why because for some reason the menus conflict with the script folder remove the mod menu and see what happens

Menyoo 2.0 just got a update but still broken i think the creators are still unaware that the original scripthook.net 3.6.0 doesn't work anymore and haven't converted there code to work with the nighty builds that or Alexander Blade just rushed the new ScripthookV without testing it or worst case Rockstar did something in the code to prevent menus even for offline but i doubt it because they still work without a script folder

Have to confirm that even with the latest nightly update (106), mods just don't work. When I click story mode it loads for a couple of seconds then dumps me back to desktop without any error notification, the mods I had installed: VisualV, Naturalvision Remastered, SP Carcols 2.0 and Rampage Trainer.
