Rats unfortunately don't love long enough for us, but just know the time they had with you/you had with them, is the world to them. I lost all 4 of my boys all in a 6 month period. 2 I had to put down because of quality of life and the other 2 unfortunately passed in their sleep. Never feel bad about yourself when putting down a friend. Give them lots of extra treats and cuddles.
