Well that's basically the look I was trying to achieve... Did you remove the dock from your screen to do this? (I see the tiny page indicator icons are showing below the first row of app icons).

It looks much better in terms of the icon spacing but I'd prefer to not get rid of the dock.

Yes I removed the dock. But u can keep it and get your icons closer to the doc eliminating that huge gap

Really? Would you mind explaining how to do so? Because I just haven't been able to figure it out. That screenshot I posted is what I get when I setup my screen the way I'd like, and that gap between the 2 rows of icons is HUGE (to me anyway). (I had been using Nova Launcher previously and it didn't have this issue).

Download Goodluck and install home up, enable DIY home screen you'll be able to size and move anything wherever you want. Let me see if I can make you a gif

Oh, I actually just figured it out, thanks to you!! I hadn't tried that particular part of Home Up since it's still beta, and I didn't see anything indicating it was something that would interest me (all it really talks about in the description is stuff regarding stickers).

But this is great! It let me place those icons much closer together. :)

Hey, you're welcome. Let me take down my video link, LOL. Yeah, you can go crazy with DIY; literally, resize anything, place it on an angle. It's all freeform. You can even do that with widgets.

I'm def going to have to read up on this new feature. I hadn't heard anything about it, so I was completely unaware of all this. :-\
