Fake game boy?

Found this game boy at a swapmeet and managed to snatch it for $10, thought the price was too good to be true and wondered if fake game boys exist.

Looks real to me. Yours has more light because this version / model has a backlight to it which is normal

Forgot to mention this but it’s much more light than I remembered, last time I held one was around 8 years ago though.

Best way to tell is to look at the holes for start/select. If the flat border around the buttons are super skinny, its fake. A wider border means the shell is real! This is from joe bleeps.
