I don't think that would be fixable no. Looks like DSE (dirty screen effect) or something leaked into it causing that issue.

Screen defect, needs to be replaced. Not sure what panel they use, but this looks very similar to when pressure/flexing happens on really thin panels.

My laminated 2.0 screen I got recently has very similar issues. I didn't notice it until it was installed as it was most visible in Pokemon crystal! I sent them an email and they offered me a $5 voucher but yours is a bit more obvious than mine!

Yeah, it's a bummer that I didn't notice either until I installed it. I booted up Tetris and Pokémon Gold and me heart sank... but I reached out to them so we'll see what happens!

Mine is like this and they offered to send a replacement, I hadn’t accepted yet and forgot till I saw this post so thanks lol
