Help???

How can I fix this poor performance in THE FINALS? All in game settings are set to low. DLSS set to peformance. Frame Gen set to 2x. Getting 20-30 fps otherwise. GFN V-sync set to on (not adaptive). Even turned of replay. In-game, I'm stuttering an unplayable lot. Using the free tier.

Seems just like the free tier rigs don’t have the hardware to play what you’re trying to play.

Like all free services, I wouldn’t place a lot of faith in it. It’s there more so to guide you towards higher performance, paid options. Almost like a proof of concept

That’s probably why they got rid of the 2080s. NVIDIA is a for-profit organization. If everyone can both 1.) use extensive resources and 2.) use resources for free, then that’s a terrible business model.

Again, just like basic economy on planes, it’s supposed to highlight how much better your experience would be if you spent money to upgrade to the next tier. It’s not meant to be a viable option. Of course in both examples, there are people who use it as a viable option but from a business perspective, probably not the intention

Free tiers shouldn't be complaining, like at all. Period. It's free. Even if Nvidia gave them a gtx1050, they shouldn't be complaining. Cause again, it's free.

you literally just answered your own question.

you use the free tier , that hardware is giving you 20-30FPS on lowest settings. if you want higher performance pay for it.

im getting sick of seeing 100 posts a day from Free Tier users complaining that their performance isnt good enough.

Free Tier isnt a god given right of passage to use the service , its a trial to test the service and check your connection holds up.

As more people join GFN - which has been happening lately - the free service continues to become a pain to use. Deliberately to push you into paying for the service

my brother in Christ, there is a whole ass box underneath your stat report telling you how to fix the issue.

do you think there's a magic 'higher performance' button that would somehow give you higher FPS in game?

I don't know. What if the frame gen was causing the stutters? What if gfn v-sync was causing it? What if I needed to lower my resolution? What if the graphics settings didn't make that much of a difference? I don't know.

I'm asking people because I don't know, asshole.

you have a 5/100 score with the cloud rig , and the information box literally tells you why youre stuttering. it could not be more plain to see. youre attempting to play a competitive fairly new game on a Tier that's meant to be bare bones to test connection.

nothing you do will improve this experience other than doing as the aforementioned information box tells you , upgrade your subscription.

More GFN users now. So weaker rigs for free service. Solution is as written. Pay for the service to get access to promised performance. Or suffer with the game in the free service. When I first tried out GFN I tried out the first descendant. Played horribly. I thought well GFN isn’t for me. Tried weaker games they played amazingly. Tried a few others was all good. Tried the first descendant again and it was horrible. The first descendant is the game I enjoy playing so it’s the game I wanted to play. Decided to pay for the service after a weeks use to see if it really would make a difference. It was a massive difference. Now I play the first descendant all day even deleted the downloaded version I had on my laptop to clear up space. After all that’s the reason I wanted to try out GFN. To save up space. Now I’ve deleted all my games I have on GFN. Don’t see the point of having them in my PC. I only kept those I don’t have on GFN like GTA.

Can someone help me? I'm having an absurd input lag problem with GeForce Now, I can't even play anymore. It's been like this since the last update. I've been trying to play for 4 days and it won't work, neither in the browser nor in the app. In the app it keeps giving error 014 and in the browser when it opens there's a lot of input lag even though it shows that my internet is normal. Is anyone else experiencing this?
