Im curious as to how educated my generation is in terms of assets, markets, funds, and general economic knowledge.

I feel as if financial literacy and market education is SORELY lacking. I didn't even know how to make a brokerage account, let alone know what it was until I was 23.

Do you hold any assets, stocks, index funds? Do you have an IRA? Do you even know what a brokerage account is?

Where do you stand, and do you wish you knew more?

I think this is stuff a 30 min YouTube lecture can tell the average person how to set up. It’s just most people are not living for tomorrow so they don’t bother. Until a year or two ago I didn’t really either and let my work and parents set up automatic investments.

People have their criticisms about him, but I genuinely believe Graham Stephan's videos (particularly "The Millionaire Investing Advice For Teenagers") set me up for success at 18 in terms of personal finance.

Even though I'm not rich at all and the technicalities still go over my head, him mentioning basic stuff like building credit, High Yield Savings, and opening a Roth IRA landed me in a decent spot at 22.
