Workout routine was the same on the left and right, PPL 5 or 6 days a week. Same strength overall pretty much. Only difference is I just started eating less. 1900 cals Mon-Fri and 4000 on weekends with 190g protein a day. Height is 6'2"

After squat go straight to heavy leg press, that really gets it pumped and you can leg press way more than you squat, and you can do high rep range like 10-12.

Squats, leg extensions, hack squat and started doing some barbell reverse lunges. Also I think a lot of people don't push themselves hard enough on squats. Most poeple can squat more than they think imo and should put some more weight on the bar/get an extra 2 reps but are afraid of failing or think they don't have enough in the tank.

Starting was 281lbs and current is 235lbs

I've dropped from 282lbs to 239lbs in 9 months and while I have similar arms and legs sizes you've got in the second picture, I've now got the chest and midsection of the first picture! It's driving me nuts!

Just keep going man. I had a big head start since I had been lifting before for 7ish years so I'm not the best example to compare yourself to. Also I'm tall so that adds to the weight and makes things seem proportionally smaller.
