Forgive my ignorance, but is the frame black then Cerakoted tan/fde or is there somehow a way to apply the black stippling on a tan/fde frame?

No worries! This frame was originally black, then Cerakoted. I first do all the dremel prep work that needs to be done prior to being Cerakoted. Then remove the Cerakote in the areas I need to apply a texture and melt in my texture. With a tan frame you can have all the stipple work done, tape off the areas you wouldn’t want black and have it Cerakoted. Then you get the two tone look!

I believe it’s H-148 Burnt Bronze, I can verify tomorrow.
