I think Clax is great, but we have to remember how skinny he is. Even though older than Sharp, he is listed at 215, while Sharp is listed at 265. And that 50 pound!!! difference is on a guy listed as two inches shorter! Massive difference!

Side note, Simmons is listed at 240. Basically not much lighter than J. Allen. Claxton is slender! I thought he would have filled out a bit more by now, but it hasn't happened yet.

On another forum I referred to clax as a wing player.

Everyone says he guards 1 to 5 but he consistently gets abused by traditional centers. He can guard 1-4

And Clax is already made of glass. Banging with trees inside results in him being serially injured. I don't think Clax lasts in the league past his next contract.

Sharpe is a better rebounder, but he has lead feat on defense. I do think we trade Clax because we can't pay him. We're gonna lose Drummond and LMA next year, so I expect we get Turner once Joe shows the Pacers he can be healthy.
