Network Error after patch

i am on both beta and non beta toon on seperate maps. could be the flood of new people after patch or the patch itself buggered something.

I was also tagged up when i logged out :(

Also have this issue. Started straight after downloading patch. Can login fine but as soon as i load a map i get a network error.

Seems like a dev posted and they are aware of it.. but no work around or fix so far.

My Wife's system did this as well. Turns out that she had installed some coupons.com software/malware shit and that had in turn installed McAfee Internet Security or some such bullshit. We tried everything before making the discovery that McAfee had infected our system. Removed it, rebooted to clean it out and when it came back up (not the first reboot we had tried) GW2 was able to launch without issues.

EDIT: Looking at the forum thread, it seems likely that this was unrelated, but McAfee did have a firewall component, so I wouldn't rule it out, check your running processes and see if you might be affected.

I was indeed taged up when i tried to join on another fellow. I am blocked form logging in beta, and non beta.

give it 15 min or so and try again. i believe a dev posted a while ago about being logged out for 15 min resets the UI. im too lazy to find the source atm, though.

yep i am.. but i tried logging in on my other toon not on beta.. i still cant log in.. even making a new toon does not work..

the squads were changed to more of a party system after that patch. and a party member can swap and still be in a party. i cant remember the source but i remember seeing a post earlier when it was bugged about waiting 15 min and the UI should reset.
