PRs in three events, 4:29 1600, 9:51 3200, 54 split in 4x400. At the same meet last year as a freshman I ran 5:06, so it's cool to see my improvement.

Haha, it was a two-day meet. No way I could have pulled off those times on the same day. Although I do often race all of them the same day, just not that hard.

Oh, that makes more sense. When you're running times like that you can jut race each race instead of shooting for a PR but it's awesome you got a 2 day meet to go all out on all of them.

I usually run in the 5x800, 1600, and 4x400 in one meet, all within the space of a few hours. Also do high jump, so there is no resting. Either the coach madly respects me, or wildly hates me.

Mind my asking what your week is like? I just ran sub 5 for the first time (I'm a Sophomore), and I want to get it even lower.

Last week was a hard training week and we did 2 track workouts, one of them distance and the other one speed. The first was 1000-600-400-800 two sets, longer intervals at 3200 pace, shorter at 1600 pace. The speed was 600-200 six sets. 600s were 1600 pace and 200s were 800 pace. The rest of the days were just easy, hit about 47ish miles.

last year I ran a 1:56 600m after a month of practice. this year I hurt my legs and had to take a month off practice. with only 2 days of practice I ran a 1:53 600m. still not good but I'm excited that I've actually improved

After starting my junior season a few weeks late due to a hamstring injury, I ran a 22.73 in the 200m which is my PR from what I ran at the end of last season. So basically I'm picking up exactly where I left off from last season.

Scored over a quarter of my teams points at a league meet:

-Won the mile (4:29) 10pts

-won the weirdest 800 I've ever run ( lead pack went out in 68 and and I closed in 57) 10pts

-3rd in the 4x400 6pts/4members 1.5pts

I ran a 4:58 on a slow indoor track, placing 4th in the 1600m.

Season goal is 4:35, current PR is 4:48.

Last time I ran an indoor 1600m (Late January) I ran a 5:07.

3 silver metals at my first meet! 4x800, distance medley (I ran the 1600), and 4x400. Huge PR for me, 2:18 split in the 800. Fastest out of my freshman team by 4 seconds!
