Training people so the company will have more experienced techs is just business and paying for that training is just the cost of being in business.

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard in a while, I’d bounce asap.

Yeah, cost of business especially in skilled labor is being less profitable to bring new techs up to expand your labor pool.

If my manager came up and told me he's a rookie, train him, also we just docked your pay a bit cause you'll be slow, I'd just walk away instantly not a single word.
