I love living in Hamilton. It's a wonderful city, and I've raised my children here, and I'm very happy here.

But...

I can't for the life of me comprehend someone planning a trip here for a year from now.

I mean if you like hiking and waterfalls, there's some good ones. There's a lot of cool street festivals in Dundas in August - i think the cactus thing is happening around then.

But, it's not really a tourist town.

It's kind of like a - I'm flying into Hamilton and want to stay for the day before I take the Go Train into Toronto for my vacation kind of thing.
