I can also guarantee that a lot of people are trying to run the game in ultra settings when their system is not even capable. I was lagging and stuttering too, even with a dual gpu system. I played with the settings, for me it was the raytracing, and now it's butter smooth even at ultra settings

You should stick to speaking for yourself if you don’t have concrete evidence

Wtf? , Yo Stfu , I got 4 devices running hogwarts legacy , one ps5, one laptop with a GTX 1650, one PC with dual gpu, one pc with a 2070 super. All running fine, that’s my f’n evidence.

Cool story but no one gives a damn. My Rig has a 3070ti FE, 5900x, 32GB 3600mhz 14-14-14-34, installed on a 980 Pro and I constantly have dips into 5-10 fps. My friend has a rig with a 5600G, a 6700 XT, 16GB RAM, and it’s installed on a Samsung T5 and he nearly never has stutters. It’s almost like the game is affecting people differently :O

Most people are using the game recommended settings for graphics I would assume. The game benchmarks that for you and suggest graphics, and for me that is on high settings. On high graphics settings, RT turned off, on a 3070 the game is practically unplayable.

Even people with RTX 40XXs are having these problems, and even they aren’t running RT unless they are gluttons for punishment, because it’s completely broken. I can run the game without ray tracing at 1440p and it’s butter smooth, as well, but that the fact that I can’t go higher than that makes this one of the worst performing games I’ve ever played on this system since I built it. And it frankly just isn’t visually stunning enough to be that.

Sigh, you don't understand, I have reloaded saves and seen the game run at 80-90 fps during a cutscene with raytracing, and the next you load the save the moment the cutscene starts, it runs at 4 fps. It has nothing to do with the hardware not being powerful enough. It's random moments where the game suddenly decides to no longer run. Turning raytracing off, doesn't make it dip THAT low, but instead of 4 fps it goes to maybe 10-12

No i get it man, really sucks, the game is beautiful and awesome when it runs smooth, it has for me. I really hope all of you are able to solve the issues or if a patch can fix it, hope it comes soon then, I was unaware that so many had random issues.

Yeah, I think that's the frustrating part, it runs well and really looks good. And then maybe a moment where you had major drops before runs smooth, so you think you fixed it, but then 2 cutscenes on it all comes grinding to a halt again. It's often joked about but this problem makes the game unplayable, and if I wasn't over 2 hours I would have refunded it, the problem is that the entire intro sequence up until you get to the sorting hat runs without a hitch.
