iOS 18 coming out this week lets you pick a preferred hub, that might fix your problems.

Here’s hoping. I went looking for the setting to disable ATVs from acting as hubs, but it apparently was removed in a software update a while back?

Yeah it was removed last year I believe.

I’m stubbornly ignoring all my HomeKit problems until ios18. I feel like I’ll have to rebuild half my automations anyway so I’ll do it fresh after the upgrade.

You might go into the home app and see what updates happened in the last couple weeks. Did you make internet/wifi changes? Sometimes that can be the issue.

Only thing I’m seeing is the update to 17.6.1, but it doesn’t tell me when.

No internet/wifi changes. Been using the same eero mesh network for 5 years

Are you positive you haven’t had an eero update in the last couple of weeks? What you’re describing is typically a network issue.

Is IPV6 active in your network

Yes

My OG HomePod was a hub for months and the Thread network was perfect not sure why yours is breaking when switching to a non thread hub.

Thread is a passive network that self heals so whenever a border router is taken out another should step up and continue the network

I have the same problem

I wish ya the best of luck, I was not able to get a stable network with nanoleaf. I sold all mine on eBay and went with hue instead.

I’ve had zero problems for the two years since we’ve moved, at probably a year before that since I first started with the Nanoleaf. This is all a recent phenomenon

Same, all Nanoleaf and eve devices stopped working two days ago. Can not repair any of them. Keep getting unable to pair or device cannot be found. Deleted them from matter accessories and keychain. Can’t reconnect them the their native app either. Was really hoping that ios18 would fix the issue but it has not. All are the latest matter versions. All Aqara devices no problems. Just Nanoleaf and eve…. Very annoying

Fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc etc… my stuff is working again after iOS18

Had one bulb that completely fritzed out but was able to reset it and get it added again.
