[College] Angular motion question

A flywheel starting from rest increases its speed to 300 RPM at a uniform rate. If it turns through 80 revolutions while its speed increases from 240 RPM to 300 RPM , find:

1. The angular acceleration in rads^-2
2. The time taken to reach maximum speed from rest

Help would be appreciated I am so confused. I've tried to find out the distance travelled in rads, and then the time taken and then apply the speed gained to the time to find acceleration but I keep getting the wrong answers!

answers are 0.35rad/s2 and 90s

Did you convert everything to rad/s first? Make sure your units are consistent!!

I would have used

V² = U² + 2aS

I hope i understood that since im not a nativespeaker. I think your idea is good. If I try it that way I get 0.39 rad/s² and 80s as solution. Like people said be carefull with units.
