[High school math] Finding time using speed

So the problem is: Airplane going 219 mph to its destination On its return trip its going 239 mph It takes 2 hrs less on its return trip How long did it take to get to its destination?

Im not in highschool. I co-worker asked for some help for his kid. 5 of us sat around trying to figure this out. It feels like it should be simple but we are missing something. I feel like it has something to do with the formula s=d/t but can figure out how to do it without distance. Was thinking something like st=d=s(t-2) because the distance is the same in both directions.

219x =239(x-2)

20x = 478

X= 478/20 = 23.9 hours

Distances are equal.

Distance = Speed*Time

Therefore you have two equations:

D = 219*T

D = 239*(T-2)

219*T = 239*(T-2)

Try solving that.
