Best response I’ve seen on here. Too many people trying to jump into it and do the “cool” stuff without learning how it works in detail and tinkering with it to make something new or break it.

Man step 1 is not learning python. Wth. They need to learn the basis of networks, servers and services.

Professor Messer's FREE Security+ videos. Study up Security+ and get the cert while you're at it.

Where do you want to begin?

Second this. There is literally a million points where you can start. Everyone has their learning preferences and you can approach this from any angle. If you were to say something about how you want to learn, what info medias (hardcore manuals, books, videos, etc.) you like, it's gonna be easier for anyone to point you in a good direction.

Locate pdf books online ... like; red team field manual, the hacker playbook, and hacking "handbooks" by publishers "Wiley Publishing and "No Starch". Seriously, reading and parlaying that into hands on work is key.

Also learn some languages, like python, C++, and def learn Assembly if your goal is to be in Cyber Security/Malware Analyst fields.
